Fort Collins Colorado Hilton Hotel

Fort Collins is full of fun things to see and do, and we are on our way back from our trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado, criss-crossing the city for a few days.

The Hood ski area features an inviting living area with a gas fireplace, while guests can spend the day skiing or hiking, and Oregon House cottages are located on the beach. Collins Lake Resort is PSIA certified and is located just a few miles from the Fort Collins ski area, the only other hotel we have stayed at. The New Bullards Bar Reservoir is also 15 km away and this 21 hectare wooded park is part of a 42 hectare Collins Lake, providing easy access for anglers, boaters and swimmers.

In addition to the PSD schools, there are several Fort Collins public charter schools, including the Academy of Arts and Sciences. In addition, four public charter schools are chartered through PSD, including the University of Colorado School of Public Health and Human Services and the Colorado State University School District.

The Poudre School District includes four comprehensive high schools serving Fort Collins neighborhoods, including Front Range Community College, Front Line High School, Northside Community School and the University of Colorado School of Public Health and Human Services. The District operates the Old Town Library, located in downtown FortCollins, the Harmony Library, which houses Front Range Community College, and the Council Tree Library, which opened in 2009 and is located in front of the Front Range Village Shopping Center.

Grand Lodges at Collins Lake Resort are one of the most popular campsites in the Fort Collins area, and the campsite is usually accessible by Mid-May. At first I didn't go camping that often, but I'm glad I did because it's a great place to camp in the summer.

North Lodge accommodations offer superb views of Collins Lake and the slopes of Mt. Hood and Timberline are a great place to spend the summer in Palmer's snowfield Mt. Collins Lake Resort offers a wide range of ski and snowboard facilities as well as a variety of outdoor activities.

There is also a gondola at Collins Lake Lakeshore that would take you up to Timberline Lodge, and you can book a shuttle once your reservation is complete. Camping in a tent or camper is possible in the cabins or at one of the many campsites along the lake, such as Fort Collins Campground or Lake District Campgrounds.
