Great view, not so good food

Beautiful setting but the food is not so great. It's not terrible, but don't expect a truly fine steak experience here. Also, our waiter was terrible. We had a larger party but he was lethargic and unhelpful. Overpriced for what it is.…

Nicky's is a great place to eat. It overlooks the river along the North Entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed the Italian selections on the menu.

We went to Nickys on the recommendation of a guide at Sombrero Stables, and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful. The back room has a large fireplace and windows overlooking the river. Dress is casual - come as you are. …
